Back to list of Church fittings for sale 90 x 13 inch table top. These solid wood desks are made my H ADDISONS & CO LTD. The table top is adjustable with a 'patented' automatic movement. Basically you can turn a wingnut to lock them and when unlocked you can simply pull and push them into an angled writing position or a flat position. They are a heavy item made with a cast iron legs and built on bench. The cast iron stand bears the name H ADDISONS & CO LTD and possibly the tables range name or place of manufacture - WELLINGTON SALON. The tables can be put together to make a large table and chairs. Traditionally used in the Chapel sunday school these could easily be used a dining table or similar. There are 8 of these desks with benches in all.
